Chapter 6 Section 4

Putting It All Together

To make the game work, first you need to drop all the pieces on the Stage. Then, arrange them so that the pieces appear as they should at the end of the game. This means that the pieces should line up perfectly and the bottom-right slot should be empty. This is harder to do than in the jigsaw puzzle game, because the pieces do not all share a common registration point.

Drop the sprite behavior on the sprites, and the frame behavior on the frame. The frame behavior will ask for some parameters. Provide it with the first and last sprite used by the puzzle pieces, the empty slot as a point, the sound name, and the end game frame.

Finally, just create the end game frame and the slide sound.
